The electrically conductive plastics
9 April 2021 | News
It is well known that plastics are generally electrical insulating materials, however, there is a wide family of electrically conductive plastics, which conduct electricity instead of accumulating it. Levels of conductivity vary from one material to another depending on the nature and quantity of the additives introduced.
These materials, in addition to having the plastic qualities, also have the important advantage of preventing electrostatic discharge. This quality is particularly interesting in explosive atmospheres or when the liquid itself can ignite, for example: isopropylic alcohol or acetone.
At Cy-Bo Plastics we offer many products made of electrically conductive plastics such as:
tanks, fans, pumps, scrubbers, activated carbon towers, etc.
